Looking for user input on a safe, secure (preferrably open source) on-line bookmarking capability that works in (most) all desktop browsers and android devices. I care less about my bookmarks being public or private than the add-on, plugin, website and/or Play Store app marketing where I go and what I do on visted websites. The TOSes on the popular sites are as bad, if not worse, than Google's and Mozilla's.TIA

I forgot to mention that syncing between computers and devices is second to the aforementioned.

@technoslick Nextcloud has a Bookmarks app that works well and is what I currently use. There is a project called Shaarli that is a bookmark managing server you can host yourself. I have experience with both of these and they work well. There are some more open source and selfhosted solutions here. https://github.com/Kickball/awesome-selfhosted#bookmarks-and-link-sharing
