       @cassidyjames @danrabbit @elementary @timapple why has it become acceptable for operating systems to not be upgradable? This seems to be a Linux phenomenon.Windows? Upgrades fineMacOS? Upgrades fineBSDs? Upgrades fine (we have a system in the official FreeBSD cluster upgraded since 1994, still running a binary from FreeBSD 3 because source was lost... and we always support binary backwards compat)
