       A long day of abortion procedures. My last patient, her uterus wouldn’t contract the blood (rare), and kept bleeding. I was with her for an hour and a half, trying to stop the bleeding. It was everywhere. All over my gloves, that I kept changing, and the bed, the floors. I saw it flowing. And then she was fine, and I cleaned up every centimeter of that blood, out of every crevice in the bed and floor.

       I went to the bar next door to work afterward, and a man just started swearing at us. He kept saying Shut Up Whores and then approached us. The bartender leapt onto the bar and screamed at him to leave. He took the man outsider and threatened him.I’m so shook. Between the hearing, the protesters, the blood, men. I’m scraped down to my bones and I feel sick
