       @noorul I can’t find the article I read that explained it better than I can, but basically by not having the option to retoot original content and add a comment it helps remove toxicity. By leaving your two cents on someone’s post it remains just a comment as it should be and doesn’t become a feature piece tacked on to the original post making it a hybrid post of an intent different from the op’s post
