@djsundog My sister used to live just down the mountain from the resort where that was filmed. Something happened to drain the lake though :(

@SetecAstronomy @djsundog which one? They used one resort for the interior shots and a different one for the exterior.I ask because ive thought about going to the Lake Lure location a couple of times. They have an annual festival there. But it would be a bummer if the lake is gone.

@trashHeap @djsundog Ah, no, sorry. Mountain Lake is no longer a lake. The resort is still there AFAIK. I never actually made it up there. Lake Lure on the other hand, I haven't been there since I was a little kid. I think I have a toy car on the bottom of that lake. Very upset that no one wanted to get a diver to retrieve it for me.
