       @Lutrinus it is my firm belief that (at least in my case) the monochrome thing is a symptom of minimalism. I’m not averse to colour, if it’s strictly necessary, but it almost never is.

       @rutherford @Lutrinus if I do, it tends to be cyan and red, so when they overlap, they are also grey.

       @neauoire @rutherford @Lutrinus For me in retrospect it comes down to constraints. The more constraints you put on your work the more elegant your work can become.B&W or greyscale is a nice constraint.But that said, I think there is something more to it. Other visual ‘techniques’ seem to quickly get cheesy, and color pallets come in and go out of style. For some reason I don’t fully understand, it seems to hold the test of time.
