@thegibson @devrandom I despise and love powershell so much. F microsoft and .NOT, but I really want a shell on unix that is consistent, designed up front and without 30 years of piled up baggage.

@thegibson so true. And in an environment without a decent management system like SCCM it has become vital to me to get things straightened out quickly.I guess the Windows Admin Center is also a huge boost but really, it's all PowerShell and Remote Management shell under the hood anyways. So my point stands.

@devrandom I love that they brought in aliases for tasks...for example, not only does dir work to list folder contents... but LS does as well...it shows consideration.

@thegibson Very true. As well the fact that you can learn just about everything you need with, Get-Command, Get-Help and Get-Member is game changing. Every time I try to use another OO language I find myself wishing for Get-Member.

@devrandom It's been getting rarely since Powershell 4 came out, but it usually hits me when I'm trying to setup coexistence for 30k users or something equally as daunting.

@thegibson with that large of a user-base I can COMPLETELY understand the frustration. Fortunately for now I only have to worry about a very small number of users/devices/whatever.My biggest cause of stress right now is an elderly town councilor who is technologically challenged. Things could be much, much worse for me.

@dewb So true, at my last gig, which was a large company, I never got much exposure to Azure and Office 365. I'm actually very impressed.Being such a small organization, I'm realizing what we get is probably actually worth so much more than the subscription fee. Teams/SFB, Sharepoint, Azure AD and all the other apps are really going to be a game changer for this small place.And for me, being able to manage it with PowerShell is making my job so much easier.
