Had some odd issues with authentication on my home file server. It was DNS. (Okay DNS in conjunction with my ISPs shitty IPv6 support which randomly resets my /56 every month or 2 and for some reason Windows Server held on to the stale IPv6 DNS server address.)

I also like Links in graphics mode! Especially when viewing sites that are pure html.This is Links running in WSL2/Ubuntu (I think the package is links2 in Ubuntu) using X410 as my X Server. The command line is: links2 -g

I tend to listen to a lot of electronic music while I work. Someone at work asked me about what I'm listening to and so I told them to search Strong Bad Email #45 on YouTube. My job here is done. I think I can take the rest of the day off now.

I've been meaning to migrate one of our sites/webapps to a new domain for which we purchased a proper SSL cert about a year ago. I kept putting it off knowing that there would be a bunch of work to go along with it.Finally today LetsEncrypt just refused to work with this domain even though it worked fine for 9 other past renewals and nothing had changed.So in my rage I decided to flip the switch to the new domain. Turns out the migration only took about 20 minutes of work.Lesson: stop procrastinating @devrandom !

Proxmox doesn't seem to care for the Dual SD Cards in my PowerEdge R620. They're only 2GB which is plenty for ESXi but inadequate for Proxmox it seems. I tried replacing them with matching 32GB SD cards but I think that might be too large for the controller as Proxmox wouldn't even finish booting with them in. So instead I'll have to just install Proxmox onto the smallest SATA drive in that server and be done with it.
