Well, I guess I have a project in front of me... Gotta get some cat food and find a way to build a small shelter for them. And get a crate! #cats

If anyone has any first hand experience here...advice welcome! I get the gist from some online research but still.

Okay, just spoke to the RSPCA (I am not a fan of the RSPCA in some respects, and this call did not help change my opinions), and didn't learn anything new, which was somewhat reassuring. Gotta get some foods and water and start to leave that out for her.

The heavens are about to open so I quickly set up this and laid out some ham (the only thing I had in the fridge!) in the hope that she’ll realise I’m trying to help...

Where she is is pretty protected all things considered and I just snuck up to see her cautiously moving towards the ham, so going to leave her while I go to the shops and see what happens.

Well, she didn't transfer to the shelter box, but probably unsurprisingly really, who knows what it smells like. She's cranky and damp, but did step out to get the wet food I left in it, so...it's a start.

Well, I put out some more food this morning and she was happy for me to watch her eat it from about 5m away. And when I walked closer, she moved in my direction (I think she thought I was offering food). She only hissed when I got very close, so...I think she has been around people before!

@scarydan Sounds like you've done a good job! Also sounds like you may have been adopted. Welcome to being a cat servant! 😉

@cefiar I’ve had a cat before which I had to rehome due to circumstances at the time, so I’m looking forward to maybe adopting one or two of the kittens.
