I am angry with my cat right now...furious, actually.had a 500GB HDD ready to go into the craptop... bought a HDD caddy for the optical drive slot...one of the cats decided to knock a bunch of stuff off my desk last night.HDD was laying on the floor, and now it just clicks when powered up.

@PhoneBoy I am not opposed to spinning disks in NON-OS/Non-critical cheap storage scenarios.SSD in the OS drive role though. This laptop is very purpose built, and low cost.
