@crushv I remember when kids at the youth club I volunteer at noticed my kindle; the instantly started pawing at the screen. When I told them that it worked using actual buttons, they lost interest.These are the same children I have to constantly remind that a monitor isn't a PC and you have to turn the big boxy thing off, not just the screen.

@crushv a 7 year old watching youtube? Think about the long-term reprocussions of that - you're basically training your brain from a very young age to prioritize extreme short-term pleasure (dopamine) over everything else.

@crushv It's definitely necessary at some point, but they have to be mature enough to believe you when you explain the dangers of modern entertainment and how easy it is for companies to manipulate you through it.
