Does anyone have any tips for board or card games that you can play with two people?

@Julia Jaipur, Lost Cities, King & Assassins, Hive - all specifically two players, all excellent :)Lords of Waterdeep, Tokaido, Takenoko, Amerigo - designed for two to four, but work really well as two player :)All recommendations from my shelf, so that's my personal seal of approval :p

@InvaderXan @Julia @carbontwelve @Jae If you think it's a turn on when people are smart, it should be the other way around, like People have to remove clothes when they are correct :D Otherwise. Well at least you get either - smart or naked :blobamused:

@Virelai @Julia @carbontwelve @Jae Oh, I think it's all just a matter of creatively distracting your opponent to make them lose their concentration. πŸ˜‡ I may have had an ex who I played scrabble with like that...

@Julia The German boardgame publisher Kosmos has a series of "Games for two" boardgames. I've played some of them (Das Riff, Blue Moon, another one which is basically Zeus vs. Hera) and they're quite good! Also, Alhambra is great but requires some setup.

@Kiki @Julia Having 6 of them, I can recommend that series. I can add Ticket to Ride Switzerland and India (needs the base game, though), Zatre, Dominion, Imperial Settlers (even though they can be played with more players), or Neuroshima Hex (if a postapocalyptic military setting is ok... I like it because of the game mechanism).Or a real classic: The royal game of Ur (https://youtu.be/WZskjLq040I)

@Julia I really like Star Realms. It only plays 2 people, but it's a good deck builder if you like Sci-Fi. You can buy the online version to play on multiple devices to try it out.
