@TheGibson my problem is that I'm using DSA keycaps which are sorta flat (they're still tall but the edges are less tapered) so the labels probably wouldn't be as visible as I'd like also my keyboard uses some nonstandard sizes for certain keys soooo

@tom what keyboard you got?My Koolertron split has a few "less standard" sizes as well.I really don't like the visibility at all. it's kind of a problem.

@TheGibson I'm using a Vortex Race 3 (ISO, Browns)!It's a very nice keyboard (and also p much the only really compact board that doesn't sacrifice the home/pgup/pgdown/end keys)

@TheGibson dang that looks cool! I was looking into split keyboards when my old one died since they seem more ergonomic but I couldn't resist the Vortex 3, hahah.

@tom Yeah, I really wanted an ergodox because the thumb keys speak to me... but I am cheap, and this was the next best thing.Thinking about printing a set of keys and trying that...

@TheGibson I'm biased but I would def. recommend trying out DSA caps if you get the chance. They really change the feel of the whole thing!
