       My favourite thing about living in a winter city is how even though it snowed all weekend and nothing was done about it, come Monday morning we're all shocked -- shocked! -- that the roads are terrible and nobody can get anywhere.

       I happen to be trapped at home. My parkade and all the way through the alley way to 100Ave is just a big snow drift my car just doesn't have the clearance to get through.

       Compare and contrast with Winnipeg which has noticed a strange correlation between the white stuff that falls from the sky and the state of the roads and so actually goes out and clears things in a timely manner.
