Updated the config quite a bit:Removed pleroma.rareome.ga from quarantine as it no longer exists.MRF (filtering) policy changes:Removed sealion.club from the filters as there’s not really any point in having them in the filters for a long while and I just hadn’t gotten around to it.Removed voluntaryism.club and youkai.town from the FTL exclusion filters since they are both deadAdded mastodon.social and knzk.me to FTL exclusion because of signal to noise problemsAdded freespeech.firedragonstudios.com to FTL exclusion for the same reason all the other “free speech” instances are excludedAdded wxw.moe to FTL exclusion due to it largely being image botsAs always please report any problems…

@kaniini I just happened to notice you added this instance to your exclusions "for the same reason...". Should I take this to imply you think it's full of neo-fascists? If so, I think you're quite mistaken. Tbh, I'm probably the most prolific poster on here, and I'm very much not. Looking at the local TL, I'm just not seeing that. So, I'm kinda curious what #triggered you to the point you felt that necessary?

@museus it's a proactive measure and not intended to imply anything about your community or user-base, nor impart any value judgment.as it is an open registration instance with lax moderation policies, it could be used as a vehicle for the proliferation of content that is not in accordance with our TOS.accordingly we exclude it from the FTL as we want to use the FTL to highlight high-quality content that is in line with our TOS.

@kaniini So basically it's "pre-crime"? I don't think you can really say there's no value judgement involved when you make a decision like that before even having a instance of abuse occur. Besides which, I would hope your user-base is mature enough to avail themselves of their own per account option to filter content they might find objectionable. I realize it's your prerogative, but I think that sort of attitude is short-sighted and infantilizing to say the very least.
