@lynnesbian GNU/Hurd was actually invented before Linux wasLinux was a later addition to the GNU operating system.Stallman convinced Torvalds to relicense it under the GPL so it could be sold.

@lynnesbian A friend of mine who had never heard of RMS was admitted to grad school at MIT.His first month at school, he called campus security on a large homeless man washing himself in a sink in the CS building at 2 AM.This story is going exactly where you think it is.
