       I can't seem to get CVS to work on Arch Linux (cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot make directory /var/lock/cvs/projectname: Permission denied), and what a brilliant software this is.(strace reveals no access on /var/lock/* at all, so.)

       @rhonda I did not, thanks! I don't really see how it can be true, regardless, since it even occurred after granting 777 on that dir (-R).
