Is anybody familiar with #CommonsPub? How closely does it follow #Pleroma? Have there been any large patches from it?

@autogestion@0x1C3B00DAHey, yeah it's related to MoodleNet but CommonsPub is meant to be a generic #ActivityPub server/library that can later be used to power all kind of different apps. Feel free to AMA!

@mayel @autogestion Hi, I was wondering how closely CommonsPub follows Pleroma. Has there been any patches upstreamed?I’m a fan of Pleroma, and I like the idea of a generic ActivityPub server that can fit different usecases. The main devs have stated that’s their goal for Pleroma, but there aren’t many of them. It’d be awesome if CommonsPub was tracking closely and could do the work to add more generic support. It would effectively be multiple teams working on Pleroma with different focuses.

@0x1C3B00DA @autogestion That'd be nice indeed, but we've been doing some major refactoring (for example separating out users from actors, to allow group actors) so it will probably have to be piecemeal patches (i.e. copy/paste rather than merge requests).cc @AceNovo

@mayel @autogestion @AceNovo Piecemeal patches are better than nothing! I’d be excited no matter how yall did it. It would be great to see more contributors to Pleroma.

@mayel @0x1C3B00DA @autogestion @AceNovo a lot of the refactoring that they are doing i am looking at introducing into Pleroma after we get a stable branch going. we're also very interested in the GraphQL stuff.
