I sure would love to know how a company that sells toothbrush ends up sponsoring a video game streamer. Why would you do that?

@aetios It's just companies' decisions on who they sponsor that I find really random. I know streamers that are sponsored by toothbrush companies, underwear companies, etc. And I just don't get it

@solidsanek They might have looked at what their target market is and then worked backwards to find streamers that they follow.

@stolas How does a company that sells toothbrushes determine that their target market are gamers? Through surveys? I guess that would make a bit more sense

@solidsanek Yeah, they probably did a load of surveys to find out what the young people are into.Or more likely they paid someone else to.

@stolas In a way, when you can't pay to have an ad being displayed on a TV channel, this kind of sponsoring isn't too bad both for smaller companies and streamers.
