it plays in Media Player, but apparently I can get better quality if I manage to get ffmpeg.exe onto my path

the default install of yt-dlp via WinGet does not properly set up the symlinks. It does install ffmpeg, but it doesn't put a symlink to it in the right place.

@IceCubeSoup i just get it and ffmpeg and put it in a folder and just reference the folder, i don't got time for microsoft's BS when i need to rip the video

@picofarad lol, I use WinGet all the time, because reasons.same reasons you might have for using any number of package managers on Linux, for example.Anyway, it isn't Microsoft's or WinGet's fault. (I don't think) Whoever put together the package for yt-dlp didn't quite finish, so I just have to make a couple of symlinks manually.I used to download the zip installers, but yt-dlp gets updated so fucking often, I just want a package manager I can tell "GO UPDATE MY SHIT, ROBOT SLAVE!"
