I know the upgrade had issues, but it was supposed to be back yesterday. When will it be re-released?

Rebelbase's #nostr relay at relay.rebelbase.site has been rerouted to our #Ditto based relay at rebelbase.social/relay. Please use the new URL where possible

It would be convienient if you posted status updates somewhere so we knew it was pulled, or when it is available again. It's an update that will take a bit of time, so I'm planning when to do it.

I don't mind the delays, but this is exactly what I wanted, just let us know what is going on and what to expect.

I managed to complete the upgrade with a lot off issues, I file a report but if I didn't know Linux well it wouldn't have worked and in second order, my system would have been broken. It's nowhere near ready for release.

@tuxedocomputers 2 upgrades to OS 4, 2 failures. One recovered with chroot, the other went black during the process and even though the chroot steps seemed to work, it no longer boots. Wiping and reinstalling 😒

It seems more complex then that. I wiped the second system, an Intel NUC and reinstalled with WebFAI and crypt, it doesn't boot.Installing with ISO to stick and no crypt, it boots

I should note that the upgraded install had no encryption, it was using the built in encyrption of the drive (through the bios)

Going further on this, there doesn't seem to be a luks option in the installer any more, there is in webfai. Installing with that and the built in drive encryption got me a working installation. I will see about the logs, I copied most of the data of before reinsalling

It talks about upgrading from Plasma 6.3, but we've long been on 6.4? Is this an old post or a mistake on your pages?

KDE-Plasma-6-5-3.tuxedo in the slug, 6.3.5 in the body on several places.

Also, they TTY option does not work. Your upgrade.sh script calls xterm which won't run on a TTY

Interesting, why the need for an upgrader for the minor upgrade?

Why did you move sources away from Neon? Just curious. And does that mean you will need more time for every upgrade or just now?
