Some of the last reasons to stay on Windows have been gaming related. Both the time from installation to in-game and gaming performance on Bazzite are now actually better than Windows on many games, and living room usability is more seamless too.

@frameworkcomputer is bazzite a new distro or something of the kind?

@frameworkcomputer unless it can run the elderly Falcon 4 based BMS (and, ideally, its addendant .bat file based EZBoards tool (yes, I know, but it is what it is)) then it's a non-starter for me.And when I tried Mint last year, DCS didn't work properly, and performance in VR in general was poor. I dared not even try BMS.It's not ease of use that's the issue, or you-beaut storefront integration. The issue isn't mainstream games. The be all and end all is compatibility (including for games in that weird and bad period between DOS and modern Windows), at least for me it is. In my experience it's just not there yet. Unless things have changed since December last year? That said, I tried Mint. Perhaps Bazzite has more tricks up its sleeve?...

@frameworkcomputer Curious how you post about bazzite here and supporting fascist projects on X, but no mention of the latter here.

@frameworkcomputer Then why do games like Battlefield 6 still not work on Linux? Yeah, I'm still gonna keep my Windows install. Be aware though that I mostly use Linux Mint now.
