Flare version 0.17.0 was now released. This switches how Flare (or more accurately presage) stores its data to sqlite. This change is not backwards compatible, you will therefore need to relink after updating Flare. This also fixes a bug where contacts were displayed as phone numbers or "Unknown Contact" instead of their profile name.

@schmiddionmobile Sorry for the stupid questions but are there any hints on how to best do this without any Anroid device? I created the initial account using `signal-cli`.

@agx Flare should in theory also work as a primary device. Though this is barely tested and requires exporting an environmental variable to enable the button in the setup window. Alternatively, you should be able to keep signal-cli as the primary device and link Flare to it. When linking, Flare has the option to link without a QR code, which will display an URL you should be able to use with signal-cli.

@schmiddionmobile so it'll basically be the same as what I did for initial setup (signal-cli -u +yournumber addDevice --uri "link") , thanks!
