I've been working on this for a few months now. I want to take more time on it before I say it's truly ready, but some of the things on the #FediBlock and #InstanceBlock tags lately have made me decide to rush this out now: I'm seeing people talk about servers we've had blocked for over a year now, where #admins harass minorities, promote terrorism, and trade #CSAM.I'm convinced this needs to be available sooner rather than later.This is a #blocklist from an older, block-averse instance, with servers we've seen absolutely unacceptable content from over the years.I encourage you to look over the reasons before you import, but be warned, many of these have CSAM and/or terrorism on the main timeline.View the servers themselves at your own risk.Importable CSV: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H6TljzFoEtZ23QE_vaGlJUl6bC7J1I4JTHIS IS NEW: If y'all see anything that shouldn't be on there, respond and I'll recheck.#FediMod #Moderation

I want to note something about public #blocklists like the above one...While it's possible for a user to import a public #blocklist CSV like this one, if you find yourself needing to do that for a large number of instances, perhaps you should contact your admin about importing a list like this.If they don't want to block instances for you, you should consider moving your account to a different server, which you can do by entering your account handles in the settings page on both servers to link them and transfer the followers / follows.One of the big benefits of the #Fediverse, as a network, is the ability to choose who runs your server, and not have to start over if you change your mind, because there are numerous servers which are all connected.If you don't like your #moderation team, you don't have to keep it!#FediTip #FediTips #Moderation

Making this available to other Fedi admins.Link is still the same...https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H6TljzFoEtZ23QE_vaGlJUl6bC7J1I4J/We recommend servers block these instances because they are known bad actors, where we have seen direct evidence of extreme levels of bigotry, harassment, and pedophilia.While you should look into every list you import, and I definitely encourage anyone importing this to skim the list and pay attention to the given reasons, I do not encourage going to the instances in question, as many contain illegal content such as terrorism and #CSAM.I release this list in the hopes of helping servers which are new or have less moderator-time get the known-offender instances off their timelines, especially ones which continually appear on the #FediBlock and #InstanceBlock tags.- #TechHub #Moderation

Of the tens of thousands of servers on the fediverse, there are about 200 or so which have administrations which actively support Naziism, Pedophilia, Terrorism, and other serious issues which #Moderation on mainstream Fedi blocks on sight.TechHub only blocks instances we see as a serious threat to our timeline / users, but we are old and I am thorough, and thus, we've accumulated a considerably large (200+) list of the WORST instances. In light of the US Election tonight, the network is expecting a wave of #spam, #harassment, and #misinformation, especially after Trump preemptively declares victory.#Admin s, do your #Moderators a favor and make sure you've got the worst-actor servers blocked.This is a list I have assembled of all the worst servers TechHub has encountered, with explanations.
