       Alpine Lakes PCT Backpacking: Day 1Exploring a beautiful section of the PCT this weekend. Alpine lakes all around with many views of Mount Rainier. Really glad I made the long drive up here. Just saw a man hiking barefoot with a walking stick.        Alpine Lakes PCT Backpacking: Day 2This trip is beyond my wildest expectations. I feel like I’m in another world. Never seen anything like these rocky mountains. I met a thru hiker named Prospector last night who suggested I visit Spectacle Lake. I took his advice and he was right, such an amazing place!        Alpine Lakes PCT Backpacking: WrapThis was an incredible trip. Absolute gem of the northwest. I would put this as comparable to the Timberline Trail in terms of scenery and difficulty. I climbed over 5000 feet of elevation over 20 miles yesterday. I think that’s my limit, I was exhausted after.
