I did find that it was hard to get around using breathing. Char
told me that if people spent enough time in the space taking and
releasing deep breaths caused a sort of trance like state which was her
intention.
I'm not sure about your criticsm of new-age-ness of the piece. I
would call it feminine. It was sort of mystical, but not in a
heavy-handed way.
