How are you generating the signal?
What sort of 'electricity' is this? static? high voltage? TTL signals?
Without more information, I can think of lots of solutions that wont work
for you.

Like running the electricity through an A-D converter and measuring the
voltage?
That sort of signal would be "easy" to connect into a model.
(easy = simple matter of programming, couple thousand lines of code)
but it expects a fairly low current, reasonable levels of voltage flux, etc.
