       I'm afraid I really don't understand what you mean.  Let me
       just state it up front though: there was never really any
       "golden age" of Gopher.  Gopher just wasn't that significant:
       it was roughly contemporaneous with the web (actually slightly
       later), and the web quickly stole the Internet's mindshare and
       has been dominant ever sense.
       
       The current gopher resurgance seems to mostly miss the mark on
       all counts.
