       Thanks for all your replies. Thanks of mentioning my question on 
       Gophersphere, because it could bring more answers. 
       
       All mentions about sense of using Gopher (or Gemini) today - it isn't my 
       question. I was thinking about today's assumption that there was a 
       "golden era of Gopher". And I try to recall it from memories of the 
       witnesses of the time. 
       
       It's interesting that the most answers aren't testifing to the fact that 
       Gopher was special. I understand that it wasn't a special choose - and that 
       it was necceserity of technical capabilities. But as the time of 
       pre-commercialization of the web, there aren't mentioned many real use case 
       scenarios of the Gopher. But maybe my questions range isn't very 
       significant, so the answers aren't representative. 
       
       I was looking to the Anonradio archieves (as I understood "Open VoIP on 
       1088" from 25-01 or 26-01) but without sucess.
