       The failed drive is on the bench and is currently being kept cool on an 
       insulated icepack while ddrescue does its work.  It will take time, but we 
       should be able to recover all data rather than rollback to a snapshot.
       
       At the time of failure the migration to v4.3.9 had completed, the machine 
       was rebooted and that is when the SMART notice of imminent disk failure was 
       logged.
       
       Thank you for your patience and support.  It will take time, but we expect 
       a full recovery.
