       @libreoffice Whew, that was a difficult read.  I can at least appreciate that people are trying to find a way to be cordial in an ecosystem that its members care deeply about, but it certainly doesn't seem executed in a fair and trust inspiring way.  Having people with corporate affiliations in a non-profit open source foundation isn't a novel thing.

       Today's fresh loaf of sourdough #bread from scratch.  This time, I did about 10% whole wheat.  What I found is even with just that much, the line between powdery dry and boggy swamp is very thin.  It seems like finding that line and then adding a back little more flour has been more manageable.Also thinking I might need to adjust bake time.  Oven spring is good, but top got a little crispier than I was going for.#cooking

       The debate over whether you can slap some rebranding and change a few custom defaults and themes and call it a distro ended way back with Hannah Montana Linux.  That bar is very low.  The community reflection behind the project is far more important and telling.Conway's Law is very much alive and kicking.#Linux #Omarchy

       The biggest difference between Omarchy and other distributions like Debian, Fedora, and OpenSUSE isn't the package manager, but the kind of community of contributors and users.There's a reason why most don't question why a person would want to be involved with the Debian community, for example.  There's very good reasons for questioning motivation to be involved with Omarchy.

       Omarchy is basically to the broader Linux community what Truth Social is to the broader fediverse:  It's own perverse little niche that doesn't play well with others.  It's not a surprise that stuff like this should exist, but it is also telling of those who are drawn to them.  The internet has a way of bringing like minded folks together, for better and for worse.
