       I just found out that tickets to VCF East this year are ~$50...nope. I'll be skipping that this year. If they're going to hike prices that high, it's no longer a yearly event for me. The vintage computing hobby is getting ridiculously expensive and increasingly pricing out the fun.

       I'm sure a lot of you have seen that Sony has decided to discontinue using Blu-ray discs for games in 2028. I think this is happening for a few reasons:1. AAA games are getting so big that they don't fit on even a multi-layer Blu-ray disc2. The numbers don't lie, the people buy digitally vs discs is apparently an 80/20 split, digital to disc3. Sony in all probability wants to wind down producing the Blu-ray disc format in general for both movies and video games.
