       If I build a browser-based Live2D model loader/poser to test Ayagami, would you trust me enough to try your model in it and tell me how it goes?It would be **entirely client side within your browser**, nothing sent to a server at all (enforced via CSP).

       I started using egui with Rust and it looks great and... then I saw they've been switching blending and sampling from linear to sRGB-naive everywhere and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa whyyyyyyyyyyyy???As far as I can tell they had some bugs elsewhere and that "fixed" them by chance... ;;

       โœจโœจ I just published the Ayagami Live2D model renderer web demo! โœจโœจhttps://demo.ayagami.dev/This is a 100% LOCAL webapp, your model never leaves your computer.Please let me know if it works for your model! (note: no physics support yet, but you can pose the physics parameters)Source code coming soon~ ๐Ÿ”ฅ

       * This will be released as MIT/Apache2 dual licensed soon* It's a 100% pure Rust implementation, using the wgpu crate for rendering (supports OpenGL, DirectX, Metal, Vulkan, and WebGL+WebGPU)* Layered API (load, drive, render)* Godot component in the works* Native/C API planned, please send feedback if you have a use case!* It's a completely black-box independent implementation, NOT subject to Live2D license terms

       * For your safety and privacy, there is an HTML CSP meta that blocks ALL script requests so no data can be sent anywhere at all* This is hosted on GitHub Pages so I don't even have request log access* I appreciate screenshots/feedback, but please be respectful of your artist/rigger! If it's broken in an ugly/scary way, a detailed description of how it's broken is enough* DM me for private feedback!

       Does anyone have a model rigged with 5.3 features (blend modes, off-screen drawing) they'd be willing to share? ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆI have figured out essentially all the 5.0 features, I just need the new 5.3 stuff! ^^

       OMFG I just solved yesterday's Live2D physics mystery.The trick was to stop trying to make sense of the numbers geometrically, and just try writing buggy code.Wrote the dumbest bug I could think of, matched Live2D behavior 100% on the first try.Spot the bug...

       This is now the third or fourth time I waste hours trying to "match the numbers", sketching out geometry, and trying random "sensible" formulas to match or approximate Live2D physics, and then the answer ends up being "just try doing the dumbest broken stuff you can think of".

       Now, having finally understood the behavior, I know it's nonsensical, and not even invariant with the original pendulum angle.Which means it will not be implemented in Ayagami. I hope nobody depends on this bug, but if they do, they can fix their model. Sorry.The goal I have is to implement physics that "feel" the same, in the sense of fluidity/drag/etc., as Live2D physics. To that extent I'm willing to implement fudge factors to correct for imprecision in the original.But not stuff like this, this is just a bug.

       I've seen some people claim that AI has been used for coding for 10 years or more.GitHub Copilot came out 5 years ago. Before that, there was nothing significant or widespread.We can all have our opinions on LLMs, but let's not forget this is all VERY recent!

       Remember how I said Live2D proprietary source code is used for AI training?Now we have proof.Hugging Face say they exclude non-permissive licensed code from their data sets. That is a lie. They have proprietary, highly restricted code in there.This is why Ayagami bans LLMs.Link: https://huggingface.co/spaces/HuggingFaceCode/in-the-stack
