       Also in these situations - today disruption due to heat - DB wins over SNCF any time. I just re-plan and take any seat on any train in the right direction. No compulsory reservation.

       My TER hit a deer en route to Paris this morning So I missed my TGV to LilleBut I’m now standing in the bar on the next Paris - Lille as every seat is sold out Because this is the timetable on a Friday between France’s 1st and 5th cities 🤷‍♂️

       In the end systematic work about #Schengen - same as I’ve done with #CrossBorderRail - would be useful here. To show not only how costly and discriminatory and disruptive this all is, but that *it doesn’t work*
