       The "100x+" productivity cope is weird since we haven't really seen anything in terms of programs anyone actually uses or likes coming out of AI yet. Same with the other "AI" - Actual Indians and their supposed 5 mil+ "software engineers"

       That's probably going to be the case. I saw some people coping about it trying to claim some kind of prebuilt small pcs with no gpu are only like $500 with similar specs minus the gpu but gpu prices are high as well. I don't want one since it's just a small computer with Linux SteamOS installed for people who don't want to mess with doing the equivalent of putting together a lego set with computer components.

       It's not worth it given the diminishing returns on things like high end CPUs and GPUs. Even if I had the money to waste, on principle I wouldn't pay thousands more for a high end nvidia GPU to get like 10-15% at most more framerate with all of the gimmick shit turned than a good AMD GPU as an example. Just get a mid end machine built, but probably wait until this AI bubble starts to pop due to ram, ssd and gpu prices which went up like 400-500%+ in the last 8 months.
