       @mangeurdenuage Oh shit, I remember this, too.  It was like a fiber optic skylight.  You'd put like a hemispherical dome on the roof that acted almost like a lens to gather daylight and "beam" it through a fiber optic "tube" to wherever you wanted it inside, where it would be almost like a recessed electrical light fixture in the ceiling.
