@murena I've found only 1 banking app so far fail although it did used to work. Just meant I changed my business bank. Where I have problems is generally the quick, cheap apps that stuff full of google stuff. Like food delivery apps or scooter rental

@itsfoss I tried. And I did really like zen browser. I even managed to go a few months with it but I just can't leave vivaldi tabs behind :(

@itsfoss I am definitely going to be watching this with interest because the echos are one of the few devices I would struggle to get rid of as much as I have detached from big tech. But my family won't be pleased if I bring dev software into their routine :)

@itsfoss ownership was a myth for years. Giving you a disk was pure theatre. So many games have online requirements, even for single player, that disk or not doesn't matter.

@murena I tried using it for the camera/mic but it was to unreliable. Being a software switch it kept turning off or when I got a call it didn't turn off. As a dnd button though it's been great

@murena it'd be nice if there was an option in the menu for setting the default voice app. I already have futo installed and even if I disable futo in keyboard apps that use "default voice input" pull up futo. Hard to compare them when it's random what app will use what voice input

@itsfoss For me it's a little late. I moved to trueNAS scale some versions ago and I doubt I am going to try and migrate back again. But I'm glad the option exists for those left behind

@itsfoss sure but modern models are all getting to big. So it's run an old one with all the mistakes or just use ollama and the phone browser

@itsfoss I already started switching to komodo and frankly find it better. It has more useful features so let portainer chase the k8s crowd. I can't imagine they'll actually find many customers there vs docker but they must know better
