       reminder that if you're immunocompromised or otherwise tend to get ill for a longer period of time than most:sterilise everything that comes into contact with your mouth/nose/hands on a frequent basisthis includes stuff like medical equipment like nebulizers/cpap/inhalers, musical instruments, drug paraphernalia, phones, drinking containers, etcwe recommend doing a wash and thorough scrubbing with hot water and soap, followed by soak in hot water with disinfectant liquid diluted to the proper ratio, and a hot water rinsefor stuff that can't be submerged we use Clinel multi surface antibacterial wipes and Clinel hand wipes (same as they use in hospitals, they also make disinfectant liquid that works well but we find it leaves a taste on beverage containers so we found a different one)and always wipe your hands down with a antibacterial hand wipe or moisturising hand sanitiser whenever you blow your nose, touch your mouth, etci personally keep forgetting to do this, so that's what i'm planning to do today, since i've had a cold/flu for an entire year now..

       @iro_miya we wish we could get that done again but barely being able to lift arms above shoulder, and especially up to ears without a fuck ton of pain meant we could never keep them clean enough

       @iro_miya reminds us we ran out and need to restock it but yes that would be a good idea, it's one of the better antiseptics to use for us cause our immune system is very fucked and flesh is slow at repairs so will delay healing and take a extra few weeks for us

       anyone know how to cook fried panko breaded tofu dippers in bulk to be frozen and oven reheated?last time we used iirc cornstarch, flour and aquafaba to hold the panko on, and made sure that the tofu was very well marinaded from defrosted so that the texture was perfect but we did have to dry them out slightly in the oven before battering and frying, gets kinda annoying with bits of ginger and garlic in the marinade tho cause they make the breading fall offif the freezer freezed them faster they'd of been better reheated but we only recently deiced the freezer, tho they do tend to get worse freezer burn than other things, and are hard to freeze in bulk, might see if we can get some dry ice at some point to accelerate it slightlywanna get more consistent results and do large batches of them if we can make it work

       @resistor @whitequark @IngaLovinde agree, it eventually felt like if we wanted to add anything to our projects we'd have to refactor half the project to add itespecially as we was using it in the pretty early days and ended up having to fork a good part of the stdlib just to get our program not crashing due to hitting unimplemented or 'unreachable' code pathsit seems a lot better nowadays though and we've been considering trying it again for writing memory safe wrappers and abstractions
