@icedquinn i'm curious, did you end up picking a software for this? i'm using gitit for my site which works great and sounds pretty similar to what you want, but it has an annoying tendency to use a lot of cpu for no apparent reason

copy-pasting elisp code from stack overflow answers with zero votes into my config.el , and wondering why emacs doesn't have an "unindent" function by default and why very few people seem to seek out a fix for this ,,,

@icedquinn huh ,, maybe this is an issue with the major modes i'm using then, but it seems like very frequently the normal indent function indents the line further than it should be and i need to press backspace a bunch to get it to go where it shouldthe thing i ended up using is rofrol/untab-region from https://stackoverflow.com/a/51121091, which i assigned to <backtab>. it works great and does exactly what other editors do when you press shift-tab

my wiki software is terrifyingly close to being finished,, it's now about 150 lines of ocaml plus a few hundred lines of liquid templates. i'm trying to keep complexity down as much as possible and i've found that doing layout stuff entirely in liquid templates is a good way to achieve that
