       @stux Sorry you have to do that. :(I did a big declutter myself a few years ago just because I had some toys and games that I hadn't touched in 5-10 years taking up shelf space that I could just as easily fill with inexpensive books that I love. And I like to think that the people who buy my old things will get more enjoyment out of them.

       @stux Agreed.All of them are motherfuckers, and that includes the beloved pop star, the superstar athlete, the philanthropist, and the guru who cosplays as middle class. You don't earn a billion dollars. You steal it via ethically-repugnant but legal means, and they should not exist in the first place. That's especially true with all the social problems in the countries where they do exist.

       @Gargron Some form of regulation is inevitable. All we had to worry about as kids were popup ads.The product these kids are using is harmful and built that way deliberately. I don't know what the right solution is, though. It would be good if parents were more active, but they're not. This problem persists because the vast majority park a child in front of a screen and leave them there.

       @stux Depending on where it's located, there may be exceedingly lax business regulations. In my neighbor state, Kansas, a kid died on a water slide several years ago, in part because of severely lacking regulation. If he hadn't been the child of a state official, nothing would have been done about it.
