       Ridiculous spam of the day warns me that "Every month you live with tinnitus [ringing in the ears], roughly 3% of your brain cells die off."If so, I've been making do with roughly zero brain cells for at least 30 years. A miracle!

       @dangillmor using the base conversion formula, log(0.5)/log(0.97) we find that you lose half your brain cells every 22.75 monthsthe human cerebellum according to wikipedia has about 16,340,000,000 neurons.  using the same base conversion formula we find that you will have only one neuron remaining after log(1/16,340,000,000)/log(0.97) months, or 772 months, which is 64 years and 4 monthsnobody knows what happens to the last brain cell
