       That's good then.  I was worried you bought them full price which would be rewarding the store for neglect.  It's sick but a lot of pet stores do the same thing, because they know it pulls on customer's heart strings to want to rescue them.If only reporting for an investigation would be fruitful, but because they are treated as product instead of an animal they get to get away with a lot of stuff.  That and it would be easy to pass the buck as "they arrived that way".
