       @eff @Thorin @verge The answer is not now and never has been more or better laws. A legal system, like any system, can be hacked (and of course the US' system has been hacked to pieces by many parties in many ways over many years). What's needed are the tools and more importantly the _will_ from people to fight this shit, including but not limited to poisoning the wells of the parties that do this. Stop walking into the cage offered to you in exchange for pretty colors (on a screen) or trivial "conveniences" IRL. Stop complying and start fighting back.
