       @ariadne@kde @MaddieM4 I was actually at the talk when the Omarchy logo appeared on the projector. The boos from the audience began almost immediately and Scott said that he doesn't endorse Omarchy, but that it's an example of AI being integrated into OSes (badly).

       @FoxbrushTailwag @techokami @MaddieM4 @win8linux @kde my point is that KDE should not seek to 'integrate AI', this is entirely the backwards way of thinking.if the desktop can be driven programatically, then it can be driven by an AI agent without any special integration necessary.

       @ariadne @FoxbrushTailwag @techokami @MaddieM4 @win8linux @kde I kind of miss being able to drive GUI applications with AREXX back when I was still using an Amiga. My daily driver is a Mac but, urgh, the AppleScript ecosystem is a hot mess that does not make any of this easy.

       @ariadne @techokami @MaddieM4 @win8linux @kde we as KDE are not. But KDE is an international community of individuals, so people can experiment with new ideas if they want. There is an "AI policy" of sorts in the work, but in general: at least this talk didn't ask or advertise for it, imho. The other one a lot more so, but from the (unfortunately short) question session you sort of get the average reaction.Again, I recommend watching this talk, as it brings up some good (non AI) ideas
