       It's weird that gaming laptops are horrible at their one thing that they say they do. you need a gaming mouse or controller to go with it to even consider using it as the label suggestslike why hasn't a gaming laptop manufacturer made like a foldable fingertip mouse that slots into the side or something, I think it would be possible.a pc handheld is more of a gaming device than a gaming laptop is IMO

       you probably also wouldn't want to use it on your lap because your legs would block the vents too

       @ocean the only reason I game on a laptop is when there's no other option and I really want to game tbheven before I had a steam deck I never really wanted to play games on my laptop due to the setup and takedown

       I am glad that desktop replacements are more or less a thing of the past now, if you *really* wanted a desktop replacement, you'd probably also prefer to buy an external GPU enclosure and use that for gaming

       I think that a fingertip mouse that pops up would be somewhat easy, most gaming mice now are essentially 80% air, not that big of a logical jump to think that it could fold open like a crate. I mean the logitech folding mouse and the microsoft arc mouse is a thing but those SUCK in terms of comfort

       @riley I wish the logi fold wasn't just a arc mouse clone. I would be way more willing to forgive it if it had somewhere to put the thumb and pinky and some nav buttons

       @riley I mean back in the day there was at least *some* reason for a desktop replacement laptop that had a gigantic GPU inside of it, but these days even the "chonky" gaming laptops aren't even that crazy thick anymore.
