       The body shop guy I use has already towed the car, he looked at it and immediately said the car is going to be a write off. He is estimating 10k just in airbag replacements. He also doesn't understand how they went off in a parked, shut off vehicle

       Same thing happened to me a couple years ago. I woke up (in Tacoma) to work my night shift (in Seattle) and my car was totaled. Driver door crushed in, unable to open. Windows shattered. Passenger side wheel became one with the curb.

       Luckily they left their tag so it shouldn't be hard to find them. The police never even came out though, apparently this isn't a big enough crime to warrant a visit
