       @wonka @SebastianSolidwork Similar rules exist in the US, but are set at the individual state level. The problem with midday being off-limits to preserve lunch is that when work with people across multiple time zones, there is no one lunchtime.

       @FakeScrumStats @wonka Good to know!Sounds like an easy reason why one would not have easily lunch time.I guess the USA either needs to split up if 4 different states or have a single time zone like China …How much are lunch times respected in companies within a state?

       @SebastianSolidwork @wonka if you work at a place that is largely colocated, that 12-1pm block is largely respected, aside from the occasional maniac who finds that hour easy to schedule because everyone is free. I know many people who routinely block out that hour on their calendar, in order to deflect such attempts.

       @FakeScrumStats @wonka Thanks for the insight!Good to know that my prejudice doesn't apply that often.I feel with all people who have to work over multiple time zones and don't get proper time for a break.
