       @stux I like the approach where the instance's terms and conditions charge an AI fee per account and per post. Better than asking for optional donations.

       @kityr Server costs are increased with €200+ for the past months since the hardware shortage because of AI, the amount of mails send has gone though the roof because of all signups/rejects/spam, and the time we spend moderating is abysmal on bots..So yeah

       @stux @Twotired @kityr it's stupid and dangerous.Those conditions are not enforceable in terms of services in some jurisdictions like Germany, don't know about yours ("surprising" terms of service are void).prompt injection into an autonomous visitor to pay fees likely constitutes a plethora of criminal offenses, including but not limited to, access of protected systems without authorization and wire fraud.Outside of criminal charges, AI operators may file civil proceedings for damages.
