       @pixx @khm lets say, charging liion cells in a reform/next should be relatively safe atm (except no real thermal tracking, so only really safe with protected cells), as they would charge only partly. the 3.7v nominal of liion would be seen as "fully charged" by the fw though. to make use of their extra density one needs to increase the charge voltage to i.e. 4.2v per cell, but also one should raise the uvlo from 2.5v to 3.5v.
