       HEIC format is disabled for now on all our Mastodon instance because of an security issue!If you do want to upload HEIC, convert them first via another platform / app

       @stux on recent versions of MacOS, you can alt-click the image file, and under Quick Actions, select Convert Image.

       @stux The only time I use HEIC anyway is when a phone update changes that setting, and eventually I notice and change it back to JPG.
